Open Session is a Chicago-based music production team known for their innovative sound and musicality. Comprised and founded by legendary producer Soundtrakk, including Anthony “APB” Perkin, Trumaine Jordan, & Nicolas Isaiah, the team operates as in-house producers for 1st and 15th Entertainment. 

With a distinctive blend of cutting-edge sounds and deep musical roots in Hip Hop, Jazz, R&B, House and Gospel, Open Session has made a significant mark in the industry, particularly through their work with acclaimed artist Lupe Fiasco on his latest albums “Drill Music in Zion” & “Samurai”. They have also worked with other notable artist from Chicago and across the U.S. Each member brings a unique skill set and perspective, allowing them to craft tracks that are both sonically rich and impactful.
