Based in Atlanta, we started in 2005 as a group of friends/family to provide financial help to the disadvantaged Hararis once a year during Ramadan. In 2017 we managed to distribute $180,000.00ETB among 180 families. The following year we decided to provide regular monthly allowance instead of an annual donation. 

Nov. 2018 Harari Amana Foundation (HAF) was established with 16 members. In Dec. 2018 the membership grew to 50 and HAF started providing financial support to 21 recipients. The organization currently has over 200 members along with 135 recipients and is continuing to grow, insha-Allah.
