Scorpio first opened its doors in 1968, making history as one of the very first gay nightclubs in the Southeast. For over five decades, we’ve been a safe haven, a celebration space, and the heartbeat of Charlotte’s queer nightlife.

Now reborn as the Scorpio RSVP Complex, our venue brings together the best of our legacy with a new multi-room experience. With spaces like the Stage, Parlor, Rooftop, Veranda, Terrace VIP, and Back Lot, we deliver unforgettable productions — from high-energy drag shows and superstar DJs to immersive themed events and Pride festivals.
