The Program in Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) was established by Dr. Karen Diefenbach within the Department of Pediatric Surgery at Nationwide Children's Hospital in 2012. Dr. Diefenbach continues to serve as Program Director and is an active contributor in the field of minimally invasive surgical simulation. Nationwide Children's Hospital is proud to support the Neonatal MIS Trainers Project in conjunction with the International Pediatric Endosurgery Group (IPEG) and KARL STORZ.
