Mach 3 is a music trio composed of violinist Calvin Lin, cellist Howard Chu, and Percussionist Heywood Chu. They arrange string arrangements of music in every genre, focusing on Top 40 Billboards, themes from famous animes, classical pieces, and other well known standards of popular music. 

Formed in the suburbs of Greater Los Angeles, Mach 3 records and performs regularly, while maintaining a rigorous schedule of arranging new popular pieces of music.
