The Explaining Science video channel was launched in 2020. It supplements the Explaining Science blog and contains the same type of content: astronomy, space and space travel.

There are four main playlists:

(1) Popular Astronomy - contains astronomy videos which are easily accessible to the non-scientist but without being dumbed down.  
(2) General Astronomy - contains a mix of popular astronomy content and a few more technical videos covering topics such as special relativity.
(3) Physics - contains more technical videos aimed at people who have a high school knowledge of physics.
(4) **Featured** - a selection of the most recently uploaded videos
