Hey everyone! I’m Emmanuel, a first-year dental student at the University of Louisville. I started this channel to document my journey through dental school and share what the process is really like both the wins and the struggles. I actually started off as pre-med, but during my senior year of undergrad, I realized dentistry aligned more with who I am and what I want long-term. I took a gap year to work in a dental office and shadow, and I’ve been all in ever since. I know the process can be very daunting and not everyone has a strong support system or access to people who can guide them through this journey, so I wanted to create that space here. Whether you’re a pre-dental student, already in dental school, or just curious about the path, my goal is to share tips, advice, and real-life experiences that can help you feel a little more seen and a little less alone.
