Hellen George Majeshi (born 15th of March 1995), better known by her stage name Ruby is a Tanzanian talented and best-selling Musician,singer,actress,and entrepreneur. Ruby started singing in church at a very young age before venturing into secular music. In 2014, she participated in a singing competition βSerengeti Fiesta Supa Nyota Divaβ.The contest featured contestants from all over the country and Ruby won as the first runner-up.Since then she has gained prominence in the music industry and is considered one of the biggest artists in Tanzania.In the same year (2014), she professionally started her music career by releasing βNa Yule.Ruby has performed on different big stages including Coke Studio Africa,Miss Tanzania,Sinema Zetu International Film Festival,Tanzania Presidential campaign 2015,Fiesta,Mziki Mnene and Wasafi Festival.Ruby has shared the same stage with the African biggest artists including Davido,Singah,Burna Boy,Waje,Victoria Kimani, ]Joe Boy, Sauti Sol, and T.I.
