The Youth symphony Orchestra of Ukraine is the only nationwide youth symphony orchestra in Ukraine, operating since 2017. We are the platform for informal music education for young Ukrainian musicians from 14 to 23 years old from all over the country. The YsOU annually conducts rehearsal camps, master classes, chamber music courses and concert tours for all its members. Our mission: • through international and national projects we strive to be a platform for the development of young Ukrainian musicians, educating creative personalities and professionals to international level. • to introduce and promote classical music to new generations and audiences, through communication strategy, musical programs, multidisciplinary and audio-visual projects. • to spread and promote UKRAINIAN classical music, discovering its treasures and presenting them in a global cultural context. Founder and chief conductor of the orchestra - internationally renown Ukrainian conductor Oksana Lyniv.
