Disc Viking follows me, Frank Hermes IV on my quest to go from playing a couple rounds of disc golf my whole life to my goal of becoming a Professional Disc Golfer in the PDGA Masters Division. My son, Frank V introduced me to the game in 2018 when we visited him in California and I have enjoyed playing it with my family ever since. Both he and I have major spinal injuries (not at the same time) and for a while weren't able to feed the competitive nature that flows through every member of our family's veins. Frank V began competing at the club level, winning several events about the time he introduced me to the game and has now  graduated to the amateur level where he was on the leader card going into the last day of his first amateur tournament. His excitement and love for the game has inspired me to take a leap and go for it as well! This is my journey.. a journey of health, competition and becoming and pro disc golfer.
