Equine Computed Tomography without compromise Our CT systems are adapted to the anatomy and behaviour of veterinary patients. In horses, the extremities, the head, and the neck can be examined without general anaesthesia. With our high-end, 640 slice units, results can be provided in fractions of a second. For the first time, with our large bore units, the equine back and hips can be imaged (under general anaesthesia). The ability to lower the gantry to the ground level allows to acquire trauma and orthopedic scans in small animal patients without sedation. Our high-end helical CTs include advanced imaging technology and the latest software developments from human medicine. More than 80 different image algorithms consistently ensure perfect image quality, showing bone and cartilage lesions in the sub-millimetre range. This technology allows to image tiny ligament and tendon structures at the highest resolution.
