The Consulate of Switzerland, Swissnex in Japan connects the best of many worlds by bridging knowledge, talents, and expertise in science, higher education, research, innovation and the arts between Switzerland, Japan and beyond. Initiated by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) and managed in cooperation with the Swiss Department of Foreign Affairs, we represent the modern 21st century’s science diplomacy. For academic guests, university collaborations, startups, entrepreneurs and interested visitors, we offer a space, a service and a platform for the exchange of knowledge and ideas in science, education, art, and innovation. Through public events and study tours, we highlight the best of Swiss and Japanese ingenuity and create opportunities for networking among our diverse group of professional contacts.
