Ariel Quartet – Official Channel A happy accident started our journey in 1998, when four teenagers were assigned to play together at a school for music and dance. Between stretching ballerinas and jazz pianists, we discovered the magic of string quartets — and never looked back. More than twenty-five years later, three of us are still here, bringing fresh energy to the great repertoire while discovering new voices. We’ve performed the complete Beethoven quartets and premiered works written for us by today’s composers. Now Quartet-in-Residence at the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, we teach, mentor, and keep exploring what makes this art form so endlessly alive. Welcome to our journey.
