Raised on the Central Coast of Australia Daxton Monaghan was born Daxton Paul James Monaghan In the town of East Gosford NSW In 1972. Daxton familiarity with Alt/Rock opened up In the late 80's playing an old fender squire guitar with a distorted fuzz box and his love for bands like Mud Honey, The Pixies, Jimi Hendrix and the DK's expanding his experience in playing the guitar. Daxton stage performance has character and bellows confidence, his first band was Latex Rubber Skinhead, a punk band from Sydney In the early 90's and progressing to other styles of music openly. Daxton has written songs with Country music Icon Bill Chambers and has also played alongside Andy Kent from U AM I in the Cult tribute band as lead singer; and marked a place in the 2009 ISC awards with an admirable mention. Daxton toured the USA in late 2009 In Nashville and LA playing In San Francisco and Hollywood he has several albums released on Foghorn Record label and can be downloaded on all Internet sites.
