Oakley's Port 33 has the furthest north, ice-free, year-round operation on the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System. Port 33 accommodates large and small volumes of dry bulk commodities, including fertilizer, Pig Iron, Coal, Petroleum Coke, and many other bulk products with more than 96,000 tons of open bulk material storage on concrete pads, and a 150,900-ton fertilizer facility with 16 separate load-outs. Because it has a wide variety of handling services and equipment, Port 33 can load and unload from truck to barge, or barge to truck. Eight Docks are available for simultaneous loading and unloading. Shipyard and harbor service include three service tugs, fleeting capacity for 150 barges, barge cleaning, cover handling, top water barge repair and pumping with the ability to process up to 10 barges per day. Permitted and approved by DEQ. Oakley's Port 33 also has Compost, Dirt, Stone, and Mulch Bulk and Bagging.
