Crimson and Slate is a competitive A Cappella group from Cheyenne Mountain High School in Colorado Springs. It was created by director Dawn Wisdom in 2016 as a combination of the all-female Crimson A Cappella and the all-male Slate Vocal Band. The group has appeared at the NACC Championship, ICHSA National Finals, NCHSA National Finals, they've opened for several professional a cappella groups, and performed in venues across the country. Dawn Wisdom started the a cappella groups at CMHS in the 2002-2003 school year. A cappella has been a part of the CMHS Vocal Music department for over 20 Years!
