Hey everyone! I’ve been getting a few questions across various platforms about when my next tutorial will be out, so I wanted to give you a quick update on what I’ve been working on. I’m currently in the middle of two tutorials: The first one is all about physics hands for the VR Pawn. It’s functioning well so far, but I’m adding some extra functionality to make it more realistic. For example, when you create hand animations—like pointing your finger—the collision will update dynamically. Right now, I’ve only got a basic sphere collider on the hand, but I want the physics to match the actual hand shape for more accurate interactions with objects. The second tutorial is on creating guns from Half-Life: Alyx. I’m walking you through how to build a simple gun actor that can be easily replicated for different types of guns. I’ll also be sharing custom models for you to download and use in your own projects. I’m almost done modeling the pistol and will move on to the shotgun and SMG next. These assets will be free to download once the tutorial is live! I know it’s been a bit since my last tutorial, and I appreciate your patience! Real life has been pretty busy, and these tutorials are taking a bit longer to put together compared to my usual content. Thanks for sticking with me, and I can’t wait to share these tutorials with you soon! Also, I’ve included a poll at the bottom to get your thoughts on some other types of tutorials that you may be interested in creating.
